Rob Brydon Christmas Show
- BBC2 30th December
On Thursday 29th July the Choir was delighted to be guests on the Rob Brydon Christmas Show.
The biggest problem was to feel the spirit of Christmas in the heat of July at Teddington Studios, London. We needn't have worried, in the studio we were transported to Christmas. Christmas trees, artificial snow and a live audience bedecked in tinsel and antlers.
We were in the company of Rob Brydon, Alice Cooper, Jo Brand, Jack Dee and others and we sang 'Have Yourself a Very Merry Christmas' with Bryn Terfel. What better could you ask for.
Annabel Thwaite accompanied on the piano and Edward-Rhys Harry conducted in the midst of the audience.

Having sung it endlessly in the afternoon and had numerous takes on the live broadcast it is fair to say that this song had a good airing
It's a strange feeling wilting away in full Red Jackets under a mass of lights while about us fell snow.
It is always very interesting to be part of a live TV production and we were made very welcome
The show was broadcast on Thursday December 30th on BBC2
