Joined the LWMVC in January 2007.  Was T2 Voice Rep for a number of years and Vice-Chairman in 2013/14.

Grew up in Trebanos, a small mining village in the Swansea Valley.  Went to secondary school in Pontardawe and in Ystalyfera. Then went to university at Imperial College, London for degree and PhD. Had a career in industry and then in academia as a university Professor and Pro-Vice-Chancellor.  Now semi-retired but still working as a consultant to industry and government.

I have organised several concerts for the LWMVC, including a prestige event in The Barbican Centre and two concerts in Harpenden, the town where I live now.
